Default bug eye wrx

can any one tell me what is involved in fitting sti brembos front and rear.my car is a 2001 wrx. so would sti brakes from same year fit straight on or are there mods required. and later year sti calipers . will they fit or not . cheers,

Fronts are a straight swap, no issue regarding fitting the discs and calipers
Rears on the other hand are a completley differennnt proposition, not an easy job to get them to fit
If I remember right, it's to do with the WRX having the handbrake working by drums acting on the back wheels, wheras the STI has......................... a different set up ?
Sorry, I can't be more specific, this is something I looked at when I had my last wrx V8, and I am correct, just can't give you a valid reason
Try a search on here, It's possible ( ie I can't remember ) whether you can buy a mounting kit for the rears, anyway a search should help you out
