Checking play in drop links???
Can anyone recommend a way of testing for play in droplinks, i have a slight knocking noise from the drivers front of my my03 sti and suspect top suspension mount or drop link

Just park car on level surface and get under and give the links a wiggle (if the car is level there will be no load on the links). Should just rotate a bit on ball joints but with no loose play.
