Default hello all - newbie help required.

Hi, nice forum you have here....

Hopefully, over the next couple of years I should be able to help out and be an active part. Also attending events.

Just getting shut of a nice Audi TT (290bhp) to pick up a july 04 reg WRX.

http://www.tt-forum.co.uk/ttforumbbs...675&highlight=

I am thinking of getting a local dealer to install the prodrive kit.

So, questions:

1) Should I ?

2) Should I just mod it myself (though 1 yr dealer warranty it's got left would be nice).

3) Do I need to get a new DV to get a nice wooooosh ? Test drove it today, no woosh, but TOTALY standard. If I change the induction to a kit, will i get a woosh? (just had to in my TT as not many TT's do wooosh - but, diverter valve in TT, not atmospheric dump).

4) Which DV is the "best" for a WRX ?

5) Is it a self fit item ?

6) Does the Prodrive kit come with a new "induction system" or should I get a kit to add to it afterwards? If so, which one? Don't want any heatsoak, nice CAI would be good.

Thanks in advance.

Lee

pro drive is a bit expensive at £1600 and it wont put any value on your car(some came with it fitted for free),there is plenty of links regarding the cheaper aftermarket upgrades and I think the the last time i read one it came in at about £800.

hmmm. wouldn't surprise me for the stuff they put on, is it about 40bhp ?
