After having my car on the rollers for a health check i only got 231 bhp (car is my02 wrx pp). So naturally i've got the 'i want more power' bug. I need to keep the missus and the neighbours happy so i don't want to anything silly. Would i benefit from a sports cat/decat (probably do down and centre sections) Any idea i'f i'll gain much or do you have any better recomendations. Also, will i need a remap ?

if i was you i would start with a full system and decat and change the down pipe as well do the air filter at the same time will sound a lot better and all so give you around 40 bhp more for all of the above just save the cat tho for mot time..
i got a down pipe / decat for my 94 of ebay cost me £85
