Is it possible to use the sender supplied with this guage and the 2 additional boss plugs that come with it in the top of cylinder 3? i.e. can you use the ones that come with the guage in that existing hole, is the thread the same?

Again these are from memory and I have been to sleep since I fitted the gauge.
I tried both of the brass adaptors that were supplied with the gauge and even with loads of PTFE and thread sealant I wasen't going to trust them at pressure's of upto 7 bar (100 psi).

usually the sensor has the same thread as the original oil pressure sensor under the alternator.. so from a breaker get that adaptor and it screws straight into the hole above number 3 and you screw the temp sensor into that..
what I did. www.hdcsubaru.com will probably do you one.
Lemans sell an adaptor but charge silly money for postage imho.
