Default is this possible???

i have a '95 sti v2 (with 36,000 on the clock with jap history)

when i bought it, it was standard apart from the previous owner fitting a chip to allow it to boost to 16psi and for the lower octane etc.
since i've had it, i've fitted an hks mushroom filter, a full exhaust system (turbo back) and a turboxs dumpvalve.

last week my mate was takin his leon cupra-R to dastek for a power run so i decided to tag along, i decided to fire it on the rollers just to see what it's got

i reset the ecu about a week before and she was runnin like a wee sweetie.....

anyway, after the run, the bloke said she's runnin a smooth 321bhp

is this possible on these mods??? or could the rolling road not be correct or could it be a one off freaky event??? everything i've read says it's no where near possible with these mods but my mates leon run the exact same power as it did previously at a different rollin road (280hp)

Maybe.
My Sti v3 ran 314 bhp on PowerEngineering's RR with a blitz boost controller and optimax. NO other mods.
I added a 3'' decat right through which I bought second hands with a few dents off an up-side-down rally car and it boosted to 1.31 bar, no other changes and it felt no different!

You could have a good-un or maybe there are a few tweeks in there you don't know about.

Sti's are good cars.

Theres a few mods you're unaware of IMA.

I have a type RA running 347BHP but can only see visible mods such as HKS mushroom de-cat etc.

Like me, I think you should get an expert to go through the car and list the lot, I reckon you're be surprised with the extras they find.

However, nice power matey.
Bet you've got a HUUUUUUUUUUGE Grin

Sounds about right. I've seen an STi V2 555 give over 310BHP (can't remember exact figure) running with one of my chips (16.11psi). It also had a fuel pressure reg set far too high, so the rich mixture would of harmed the power output.

Have a look at the ecu, may have a piggy back.
