as above it usually only holds 0.5 bar till about 5.5k then boosts 1 bar then oops redline.

my car has full decat and scooby ecu (1bar). i dont have problems geting target in any other gears but spool is pretty slow?

apart from this cars running well, no judders, misses, or hesitation its just not boosting right.

ive cleaned the boost solonoid also. could it or the turbo be worn?

I dont think scoobs do give you full boost in 1st gear, its too much strain on the gearbox (plus you dont need it).

As Tony says I thought scoobies didn't reach full boost in 1st gear both because it isn't needed and the engine load is low.

Fitting an APEXI AVCR might achieve it through the "gear Judge" setting but I might be wrong...
