I have just returned a towbar to Towsure as it did not fit my MY99 turbo.
The bracket bolts on to the mounts for the original towing eyes.
The offside the towing eye is attached by two bolts into the rear sub-frame and one form a web that drops down from the frame. This web clashes with the towbar and it cannot be fitted unless you bend the web out of the way by 90 degrees. I refuse to do this to my car so I need to fit another bar.

I understand the not all cars have this web.
Is this a common problem?
Dose anyone know of a (cost effective) bar that I can fit?
I have been told that the Witter is the same as the Towsure item.
