nobody seems to mention that if i get and use some spacers,do i have to have 4 gaskets instead of 2?

Yes you'll need one above and one below the spacer.

 

why space manifold? - interested!

 

ive got it off to do the repaint so ive read that it will reduce temp so has to be good

Carl Davey should be able to supply you some spacers at a good price plus he is in Turriff which is not too far from you!

You will need 4 gaskets now instead of 2 - one on top and one on bottom of each spacer!
