Hi guys and girls,just got me impreza bak from the garage after having a new crank pully fitted and i also had a new dump valve and air filter fitted,just wondering if anyone knows why my dump valve aint all that loud its a baileys venture dv 26 if that sounds right, does it take time to wear in then gets louder in time ?

 

yours is a twin piston and they are always quieter

they have more work to do as there are two pistons to move , hence there being less pressure for the 'blow off'

some on like the escort , or R5GTT are old type single piston , if thats the sound your after . .

I suggest HKS blow off dump valve
