ported wastegate

Default ported wastegate

I have just finished rebuilding my turbo and while it was off i ported the entry, wastegate, up pipe and headers, the car has been for a remap today and the mapper is strugaling to get more than 1.1bar of boost there are no split hoses or leaks that can be detected, all we can think of is that with porting the wastegate it is opening slightly and not holding boost, he is going to have a go at tightening the rod up in the morning to see if that helps, i was just wandering if any body else that has ported the wastegate has had this problem?

Over ported. If adjusting the WG doesn't help, you'll either need an up rated actuator, or another exhaust housing.

Sorted turned out to be a blockage in the pipe from the boost solonoid
