Default Downpipe question

I have got a Ninja downpipe back system fitted to my MY98 UK Turbo and am looking to fit a de-cat downpipe in the near future. I have been led to believe that the system is a 2.5" one so what I would like to know is wheather or not I can fit a 3" downpipe to it or does it have to be only a 2.5" as these seem to be pretty thin on the ground.

Thanks

Martin

3 inches at the mouth tapering to 2.5 inches is very common mate, so you shoudn't have a problem finding one.
