hi all, i've got a scorpion stainless steel system that came with my wrx ra when i bought it, had the centre pipe and back box fitted, but my mechanic said there wasn't much point in fitting de cat pipe as i would also have to have ecu re mapped to suit, can anyone confirm this.
i am also about to fit induction kit, the car is a standard type ra 93/94
my worry is that i will have to refit standard downpipe for mot and don't want to f*** anything up by doing that.

putting on the decat will be fine! - no need for remap.

although you will need to refit cat for mot!

unless your car is on a 'k' plate then just tell the mot guy that it's a '92 and you can get away with decat!!!!
