Default Knock Sensor?

I have been getting an intermittant CEL. It has been coming on for short periods then going out again. Each time it's came on I've been driving normally, either round town or just cruising at about 60mph in 5th. I have a knocklink fitted and this hasn't shown much more than a second green at WOT. The car is a MY00 with a de-cat and a JB Tek 2.5. I have the Tactrix ecuexplorer software and when connected gives me a historical fault code of 22, knock sensor. I also took the car for a run with the laptop connected and logged a few runs. What I would like to know is, what values should I be getting from the knock sensor if it's working normally and just a bit of reassurance to make sure it is the knock sensor. My values range from 0 to the occasional -2 and 1. Thanks Jamie

sorry, can't answer your question but if you find you need to replace the OE knock sensor the part# is 22060AA070. Cost me £50 from my local Dealer.

It looked identical to the Bosch knock sensor you'll be using with the knocklink, but it comes with the Subaru wiring assembly too - and I wanted to replace that as well rather than just the sensor itself.

Out of interest how much was the Tactrix ecuexplorer software? did you need to make up a cable for the OBD connector?

Ozzy, the software's free. I bought the cable from the link on the site, it was quite pricey, about 50 quid odd but it's paid for itself now after the dealer said it would be an hours labour to fit the select monitor, £60 + vat!!
