ive been having trouble starting my 95 wrx import wagon!! it was coming up crank senor error. so i fitted a new one and im still having the same problem!
it starts fine first thing in the morning but struggles from warm!!

as ive fitted the crank sensor , should i have re-set the ecu? or does it sort it self?

I had a similar problem on my car. Turned out one of my front brake calipers where siezed. Also check the MAF if you inplug when running and nothing happens then its that. The car should die when you unplug it if its working fine. Also do the usual spark plug and lead check. I think yours has the coilpacks on the sparks. To check them take sparks out and bring the gap down 1mm from what they should be. (Cant remember the gap) If the car feels better then it could be one or all of them.

first thing first, reset the ecu, go for a little drive (About 20 mins will do it) and then read for error codes again, see if it brings anything else up like cam sensor.
To be honest I dont think it is anything to do with the spark plug gaps as it would be harder to start from cold than warm if the gaps were to big
