Will a VF28 cope with a FMIC
Can anyone tell me if my ported VF28 on a 2.5l converted classic with supporting mods will cope with a FMIC or will it be pushing it too hard ???
Looking to get to the 350bhp mark and above if possible or is it time for replacing the turbo ?

Time to go for something bigger IMHO.
The VF28 in std form won't go far past 330bhp, so I think that even a ported one like yours would cope with 350+.
Go for a TD05-20G, which on a 2.5 litre will be strong without being laggy. Capable for 400bhp so it will cover you no probs...

ideally you would want another turboto get the best out of the 2.5, as has been stated the 20G is supposed to be THE turbo for the 2.5.
A VF28 is about maxed out at 330-340 realisticly, but it will still cope with a FMIC (i am in the slow process of doing this mod with this turbo on my own classic myself)
