Just above the main crank pully & under the alternator. You should be able to see the plug connector. Unplug it & undo the 10mm bolt to remove the crank sensor.

Not sure of the cost for a new or 2nd hand sensor

 

after our exploits with woodruff keys Ticky..we both know where the sensor is...is only tiny device..bet somewhere like GRADE A impreza would have second hand for a cheap price..or know of where to get new one...???
