Default rocker cover bolt problem

went to do my rocker cover gasket(drivers side) at the weekend
and 1 of the bolts wont budge its the bolt at the bottom on the left
the bolt has started to round off now even my six point socket is starting to slip of it
its right next to what i think is the subframe, can this be dropped down so i can get some kind of grip on the bolt dont really want to take the engine out for 1 little bolt
any1 had this porblem b4

I had encountered the same problem, ended up having to tack on a small metal bar about 2" long and use it to lever on to undo the bolt.

Good luck!

Yup, weld on a new nut, the heat from that process and the new nut faces will mean it'll come undone

Best you find someone with a welder then.

If you havent got a welder or gas then the best thing I can suggest is to nip down to B&Q or Hellfruads and find one of those little map gas or propane/oxygen kits, heat the bolt up until its red hot, put some grinding paste into your socket and give it a whorle.
