Default Which BREMBO's Do/Do Not fit My 03 WRX

Can someone who knows what they are talking about please tell me from 2001 onwards which STI models Front and Rear Calipers will/will not fit my 03 WRX. I already have Prodrive PFF 7's on the car so wheel clearance should not be an issue, cheers!

Rears wont fit, fronts should do.

just be aware that after 05 the STi's have a different PCD (114x4) to the std (100x5)..................

the calipers are the same so either re-drill the discs or source earlier versions........

the rears are a total pain, they can be fitted but probs not worth the effort

I order to fit rear STI Brembos on WRX MY01>06 you need one of these - not sheap - kits:

A set of rear take off STI Brembos are cheaper than the fitting kit...

Thanks for the replys all, so front MY01 to MY04 STI Brembo's will fit with ease then?, im assuming this will need the larger STI Discs to compliment. If i also fit the rear STI discs will the calipers fit the 03 WRX set up with ease also??

Much appreciated

You will also need the Alloys which will accommodate the calipers, so either STi wheels or a Prodrive new age wheel.

Hi there

Just done this mod to my 2003 WRX, fronts from STI will go straight on, but your existing Caliper bolts are a different thread pitch to Brembo STI Calipers, so you would need to get hold of some of these. As for the rears there is a conversion kit avalable to fit Brembo STI calipers from the states, which is £260 GBP which consists of extention brackets for calipers and a handbrake spacer ring which fits into an STI brake disc to enable use of the handbrake with the existing WRX handbrake shoes. I myself am developing a conversion kit, which when finished and properly tested will be avalable at a fraction of the cost from the US.
