Default "front wheels toe in severely"

I posted this in driving dynamics by mistake like a dumb b steward!! lol

The title was the quote used when i got my car serviced lol

What does this actually mean, and is it a problem.......

I thought i'd experience odd tyre wear but my tyres wear completely even and last me a long time!

can anybody shed any light on this?

Ta,

Bri

Toe-in is where (looked from above) the two front tyres are closer together at their front edges than at the backs - ie they point inwards. A small amount of toe-in is common as wheels tend to 'toe out' slightly as the car goes along, but sever toe-in will upset the handling and increase tyre wear - especially on the outside edges.

Solution is to get the 'tracking' checked & adjusted
