Default Fuel Pump uprated?

Hi, a friend of mine is selling a few bits off his '98 2dr type r!

The car has run big power in the past (he bought without engine).

Thing is I'm interested in the fuel pump in it for my '93 wrx but we don't know if it's an uprated one or not???

How do you tell the difference between standard pump and an uprated one?

cheers
Mark.

Itwill be a standard fuel pump if it is O/E. UNISIA JECS Made in Japan. Usually gold in colour. Either Zinc or Cadmium and full chrome passivation.
If it is an uprated pump it could be one of several Bosche or more likely a Walbro GSS341 Made in the USA and silver/chrome in appearance.
The JECS UNISA is much larger diameter than the Walbro.
