Default same boost but less power

Hello there!

Im sure over the last few days my car has got slower!! boost is still at the same level but it just doesn't seem to pull as hard!

I have a bugeye wrx, 3" dp, center and backbox.

My car had a service including plugs (7b's) about 4k miles ago and im running 1bar boost (dawes) and walbro pump. but no remap.

The car has had these mods for the past year and so far no problems at all apart from a plug going a while ago before i changed them, coil packs were totally fine also. like new!!

Anybody any idea's, i was thinking about the warmer weather but surely it cant be that noticable, its like my car is running at 90% or something.

cheers,

Bri

I think that its the increase in ambient temperature thats causing the loss of power
The other day it was 23 deg and I am sure that my car didn't feel as quick

Indeed, it won't be as quick: Turbo cars like cold dense air best and produce the best results in these conditions; warmer air can make the performance drop off by noticable amounts.

Ever put your foot down on a Winter night and though "I could swear the car is pulling harder than normal?" That's why!

Edited to be more explicit!

yeah i knew about the increase in temperature like, but just didnt think it would affect the power so much..... i mean its not slow by any means!

thinking of getting it on the RR soon to see what figures it puts out, then maybe get it mapped and RR'd afterwards.

I can read just fine thank you! You concluded by saying that the car didn't feel as fast and I said indeed it won't be! We are in agreement; what's the problem?

No need for handbags but someone suggesting that I can't read is a bit ironic when if they'd have read my response properly they'd have seen that I had -in point of fact- understood their reply and was agreeing with them all along!

I think some people are way too geared up for arguments on here and are too ready to insult to complete strangers. Peace out man!!
