Extractors and downpipe dilemma !
Hey guys, Ill be getting me extractors and downpipe done together in about a weeks time, just want to ask whats the best combination ? say pros, and cons of tuned and non-tuned length extractors and also 3" and 2.5" inch downpipe? Im kind of leaning towards the tuned length as it yields better gains, but Im yet to decide between 2.5 " and 3" system.
Ive heard 3" will take the low down torque away, which I would mind quite alot. Im looking for 350~380 hp in the long run as my target. would 2.5" be big enough for that kind of power? or do I risk the loss of torque and go 3"
Cheers

What is an extractor? Have you been reading advertising hype?
You do not loose torque with a 3" system, that is just another Scooby myth perpetuated on this board. It is however essential that you choose a system that is capable of providing good performance gains. Research those systems that produce proven gains consistently.
Buying a back box from one place, a centre section from another and an unknown downpipe is hardly a recipe for success unless you know what you are doing.
A 2.5" system is capable of flowing satisfactorily at your target level but why restrict yourself.
