Default Warning light

CEL has come on after unpluging my MAF sensor while running to see if its fecked.

But its not going away! is this coza of the MAF being unpluged or is it somin else?

unplugging it while running would show a check light so do a ecu reset or disconnect the battery depending on year model.

Unpluging the maf does NOT tell you if it is f**ked or not! if a maf is upseting the ecu so to speak it will cel code 23 but this is not always the case if a maf is on its way out it can fool the ecu such as car will run lean NOT GOOD the best way to tell is to use a like for like maf from a fellow car!!! As for your cel unpluging sensors when live to ecu is not advised do a ecu reset by pluging test + memory conectors together (not the unplug the battery way as this does not run the car as part of reset) then you can remove the cel light and see what error codes you get all the info you need for resetting your ecu follow this link http://www.saxonfields.freeserve.co....iag%20Page.htm
