hey all my name is chris from worcestshire an im building a rwd mk5 escort rally car i come to this forum because im putting a subaru back axle in the back of it for all the disc brakes camber ajustment ect ect but ill get to the point

ive got a 3.5 or 3.9 diff (cant rember which) an i need a higher ratio like 4.4 or 4.8 are the 4.1 diff cases an diffs bigger than 3.5-3.9s? then i know how much of the tunnel to cut out an what size prop 2 have made thanks all

To the best of my knowledge the rear diffs on all early impreza's are the same size for a gien ration.
You need to replace an 'R180' diff case with the same size one etc.
