A mate has got a blobeye Sti... on a 03 reg... over bumps and when pulling off, theres a creaking/ knocking from the rear... sounds like its coming from thetop mounts, or shockers...
Ain't there a common fault on these... what needs to be replaced to shut it up...

Its proberly the rear shocks mate there prone to fail on blobb eye STI mine have replaced under warranty

 

Ok, cheers... so a rear shock change should sort it...? How much are they? Do you have to take the rear seat out like on the classics???

 

Have a look that the jack, handle, spare & cover etc aren't all banging about. Try taking them all out and see if the noise goes away. I had the shocks and top mounts replaced on my STi7 under warranty and the noise was still there... took the jack handle out... no more noise. some stick on foam tape sorted it all out in the end
