decat pipe

as my car has a completely decat system would it effect the performance if the gaskets between the downpipe and the centre section and the back box is blowing ,it would give less back pressure

basically my gaskets on exhaust are blowing really bad and wondered would it effect performance by a lot, got new gaskets coming
