Hi i want to do away with the scooby header tanks and fit a after market one the only thing is that the fittings on the new one are only about 6mm so the one coming off the turbo is too big so can i plumb the turbo outlet straight to the pipe that returns to the bottom of the engine next to the themostat then in that line put a T that will collect any air and take it to that header. Im going to have to put a fitting in the thermostat housing for the water to return to the engine. has anyone done this or know if it will work?
