Default ceramic paint for headers?

Has anyone painted their headers with ceramic paint instead of wrapping them?I am fitting equal length and they look a pain in the **** to wrap!
Thanks Jeremy

Hey Ron, jubilee clip failed again on way home on side of duel carriageway and somebody called the boys in blue as I was In a bad spot just off the roundabout, not easy refitting jubilee clips in the dark on the side of the road especially as it was the join under the induction inlet! I was told to move on sonny and was given a police escort up the road and he overtook me doing 45 in his fiesta diesel.

Sounds like ya need to clean the pipes really well, and then spray 'hair spray' on the joint and tighten them up properly.....
