Default Intercoolers ?

on the classic, why are some straight, and some slanted,at an angle, standard ones, not FMIC.

slanted are older, straight are newer.

As above. The slightly angled intercoolers are fitted to the m/y92 to m/y96, then the straight intercoolers fitted to there on. You may find a early car with a straight intercooler, but it would of been changed afermarket.

hmm, simple enuff reason then :-)

whats the difference, just different angled inlet manifold or better air supply on straight ones ?
if i was buying a new one, would a straight one fit onto slanted one, or are the mounting holes different etc ?
