Sourcing replacement gearbox speed sensor

Help! Pleeze.... Have an Sti Ver 4 MY98 import and the speed sensor has gone phut! All sources for a replacement have a 3 pin multiplug fitment
Mine has a 2 pin? approx 22mm cylinder unit that screws into the gearbox withan approx 6" fly-lead. Can anyone help finding me a replacement.....dejected of Maidenhead
