None! dont do it.

Just get the oil hot and drain out as normal.

One litre of diesel ;-)

I flush with a cheap grade of oil then re-empty and fill up with good stuff. Does me fine.

Had my Bugey STi for 4 years & 50k miles, every time I do a oil and filter change I drain, fill with a oil for diesel engine (higher detergant) let idle for 10 mins (Turbo timer only goes up to 10 mins) whilst having a coffee. Drain and remove old oil filter, replace with new filter and full syn oil. Does not use a drop of oil and it's running 360bhp. I would not drive the car on the road whilst flushing as the oil is thinner and will not proivide the required protection. If your engine has not been flushed before and is a reasonable milage use a oil for a petrol engine not for a diesel. A lad I used to work with did use a oil for a diesel engine on his Nova 110k miles approx. Rattled like a bag of spanners after new head required.
