Default desperate for lambda sensor!!!

Need a 3 wire lambda sensor to fit a 95 UK impreza turbo tonight, does anyone have one in the East of england? Will a universal 3 wire sensor work ok?

3 wire universal worked perfectly for me.

exactly which universal model did you use and how was it wired up?

If you use the three wire the black on the sensor goes to the white on the car and it dosent matter which way round the other two wires go.
I used a four wire which you wire up the same way but you have an extra grey wire which needs to be earthed in the engine bay as the three wire earths its self through the exhaust

Universal lambda sensors are fine for about 300 miles, then they start sending false infomation to the ecu. Id get a genuine one mate, it'll save you money in the long run!

I've had my universal one from sutton autofactors on for a few thousand miles. Still working fine. Emissions were spot on at my MOT last week.
