There have been rumours of a forced induction version of the H-6 engine. I am looking for a UK company that can supply and install a supercharger or turbocharger for an H-6 engine as fitted to the Legacy Spec-B. Target BHP is around 300. At the same time, I am hoping to use a higher ratio final drive, perhaps from the current version of the H-6 Outback in order to allow better than the current 20-21 mpg at 4,000 rpm in sixth gear (non-UK motoring of course). I would be grateful to hear from anybody that has had experience of performance improvements for this rather lightly stressed engine, forced induction or otherwise.
