Forge Dump Valve
I currently have one of these fitted to my MY00 UK Turbo (forge VTA Dump Valve) and it is failing to dump when changing gear at present,
Does the spring stick inside?
or could this be a seperate fault somewhere else?
Is it general practice to clean these?
When changing gear at present instead of the usual dump of air, there is just a slight woosh instead. It has been on the vehicle since a purchased it - a good while ago!
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Mike.

Just to keep all of you fellow Scoobyneters up-to-date the problem with the valve was that it was sticking in an open position, instead of returning to its normally closed state following the last time the valve was used.
I stripped the valve completely down, once removed from the vehicle (only two 12mm bolts and one small hose) removed the allen key head bolts off the valve, seperated it allowing access to the blue large spring, the core of the valve a stainless steel collar (For the want of a better word), another smaller black spring with a small black button which actually opens and closes allowing the flow of air into the valve, and the whole thing had old black grease everywhere resulting in a sticking action of the valve inners. Once completely cleaned just with a damp cloth, and a re-greasing of the collar and the rings which sit around this at the top of the valve and reinstalled on the vehicle - The valve was once again happily dumping away with what I may add is a much now improved response and noise.
Just thought I would keep everyone updated incase anyone in the future has a problem with there VTA dump valve not working as it is supposed to, even when boost is still apparent in the system.
A simple but effective measure to cure it.
