Hi all i have a my95 uk turbo with following mods sti i/c k&n panel filter perf b/box & centre section with std down pipe & cat but since ive had the middle bit replaced with a straight through bit of pipe my boost peaks at about 17psi for a couple of seconds and holds 14.5psi in every gear i'm just worried about detting. it runs sweet and is very quick. any comments grateful p.s exhaust very sooty cheers

 

should be fine peak at about 1.2 bar settle at nearly a bar that will be fine i have 95 wrx and mine peaks at 1.2 bar settles at 1.1 with no problems

 

if the exhaust is sooty as well then its a sign that it is running rich so should be okay. Your not hitting the fuel cut so dont worry
