I was looking at MRT webpage and noticed the fore mentioned items and have also noticed on other scoobys, are they worth the cash (how much are they?) and where sells & fits in Glasgow.

Paul,
Buy em direct from Bob @ BR developments or Mike @ scoobymania,
an fit them yer self. Pretty straight forward, any 1 can do it if they know their **** from their elbow m8.
BTW they r handy if u wanna do some serious mods (let u know wots goin on) but for the full effect u really need a mappable ECU to use the info
Pete

Thanks Dennis for the email, cheers.
Pete, won't be doing any seroius mods to the car SS downpipe and maybe an induction kit in future, thought it would be a good idea. Can you fit these without a mappable ECU, what do you think of getting these, waste of money or not, antone else care to comment!!
thanks for your quick reponse guys.

LambdaLink?.......very useful. KnockLink?....okay if you've not got a tuning module with the ECU. If car is relatively standard, don't think you'll need the knocklink much, though if you buy dodgy fuel......it could be a godsend.
Pays your money and all that.....
Can be fitted without having Link ECU.

Paul,
Looks like my m8 Alan beat me 2 it there
These are stand alone units, the lambda link like Alan said is probably the most usefull of the 2 on a slighly modded mota.
Lets u know how rich / lean u r running. Saying that if u don`t wanna go the full possum hog u can buy a standard 52mm diameter
AFR gauge (i used an autometer one before goin the full hog on the possum stuff) only difference is there are no CO level markings on it Bear in mind though that u r lambda sensor has to be in good nick for either of the above to work properly.
The knocklink, well it`s more a "just to be sure" on a std mota.
Hope this helps.
Pete
BTW Alan wot u doin outta u r bed @ that time o night
wots the L8st on the mota ? Drop me a mail bud

The Lambda Link, I have read on here, read incorrectly when the exhaust gasses get very hot from eg a hot day. Maybe the Knocklink is the better of the two. Bad batches of fuel are more common than you think and the Knocklink will warn you so that you back off and save the engine.

Agree with you there on LambdaLink under reading when hot but discrepancy should be taken in to account, since if your car is mapped okay in the beginning , your initial readings will show them to be correct. If you allow the car to cool down a bit after a blast ( a few minutes) then you will see the readings return to normal.
A LambdaLink can also be useful since it can show up a lambda sensor which is not working and one which is failing. For example, the ECU may think the sensor is fine but the sensor could be giving it false readings and hence the ECU will increase or decrease amounts of fuel required at any given time.
Pete....stop salivating!!!!
I'll mail you soon....been busy with work...

I was considering getting a Possum Link, the Lambda link and Knocklink. Is there any advantage to getting the whole lot together or would it not make any difference if I get the Knock and Lambda first and do the chip later?
Cheers
