Question Dump valve near throttle body?

I am going to weld a take off on my HKS FMIC near the throttle body, in other words after the core, but was wondering if it matters how close to the throttle body i put it.

I know the hybrid one has the take off on the curve towards the bulkhead but i want to put mine about 4" away on the last inch or so of the bend going into the throttle body.

My question is this, will this have any detremental effect?

as close as possible i believe. you could get a samco T hose to replace the one that attaches the inlet plenum to the boost pipe. can't get much close than that, and no welding.

Not answering your question but.. I have an adaptor plate that was used to mount a newage style BOV to an FMIC if it's any use to you. It came with a standard newage dump valve I bought and I've no use for it being a lowly TMIC boy.

thats not a problem though, all you will need is a pipe joiner on some kind.
