aerial on the classic

Is there any way to boost the signal so the aerial will work without being extended out the car?

Purely for cosmetic reasons, i think it looks naff!

From: 1600cc's of twin scroll fun :)

New age cars have them in the rear screen, though i think the reception isnt quite as good.
