Default Still getting severe overboost,

MY00 PPP ECU, full decat, ported headers, sti 5 intercooler,

I started getting severe over boost, 1.7 bar reading on the Defi, normal is about 1.1 held, peak at 1.2

Fitted a new MAF a short while ago, as i was having idle problems, but that is now resolved

Ive checked the pipes, they all seem fine, last time it did it, the actuator arm got stuck open, so I had no boost, sorted this, and did an ecu reset too (with Delta Dash)

Just been out in it again, and it was running fine (boost wise) till the engine got warm,

If I feather the throttle the boost is fine, its only when I put my foot down a bit harder (im not talking flooring it here) it overboosts

Any ideas

Steve

Have you checked the actuator hasn't got stuck again, but closed ?

Try pulling the hose off the actuator, blank the hose, and then see if it still over boosts.

This will tell you if it's related to the turbo/actuator, or a blocked boost solenoid, split pipe, etc'.

Mark.
