hello every one

just had both gasket replaced on my sti today
just came home now and opned up the bonnet and bit of smoke coming out from gasket area??? is it normal because i just had gasket done today??

 

Hello did you have the cam box covers gaskets replaced if you did it could be some oil that leaked out when they fitted the new ones it will be burning off the exhausts if you did have this done could i ask what sort of price you payed as mine is weeping and i will have to get it done soon

 

i dont know mate its rocket cover gasket on both sides

i paid 100 pound for every thing which includes both sides gaskets, oil change with oil filter, and labour

so is there suppose to be smoke coming out then when u replace them???

 

No but if they is oil that leaked out when they replaced them it could be running down on to the exhausts if i was you i would pop back and let them check it it may need a power wash to get the oil off that is still hanging about or in 2 days or so it may burn the old oil off the fr pipes hope this helps mate and thanks for your fast reply

 

and also some times smoke comes out from turbo isit becayse turbo be too hot????
