Hello all,

I am in a bit of a fix and not sure what to do so advice would be much appreciated, I am looking at upgrading the motor and am looking to :

Fit a FMIC, upgrade the Turbo and Ecutek her, now here's the hard bit as much as I want to get it all done at the same time I am being inpatient so I would like to know which of the following I will benefit from the most

1 : FMIC with ECUTEK
2 : Turbo with EcuTEK

depending on response I will decide what to do I guess, basically I would like the FMIC for safety reasons, keep charge temps down etc

All advice appreciated

Cheers

Tony

turbo and ecutek will give you the most power if thats what you mean by "benefit". Quite a few people around still on TMIC. You will need a few other supporting mods such as fuel pump, etc..

You ought to consider a Hydra ECU (see my post) which I had mapped with a larger core MRT TMIC.

Depends upon use of the car - mine is used for hillclimbing and less lag with a TMIC gives quicker times than a FMIC.
