Wrong fuel pump
Tried fitting this Walboro fuel pump yesterday to my 97 UK car.
It look similar, but I think I may have ended up with the wrong one. Got it from eBay - obviously I didn't check types or the car it had come off.
Am I being stupid and it can be fitted with mods or have I got the wrong one ?

Thanks in advance.

I got a mounting kit (not sure if I got a mounting bush though I can make one easyily enough) but the electrical connections seem to be different.
My OEM pump has connections that are screwed in, this one has a plug, do I have to chop the plug leads and solder then to the original connectors ?

Yes just cut the original pump wires and join them to the wires on the walbro pump
If you make a mounting for the pump ,make sure the filter bag is laying flat when mounted in the tank ,if you know what i mean

cant see the pictures as I am at work, but if it was like mine, I used the original wires and soldered spade connector things on them. Best bet is to use the original sock as well not the new replacement one.
