I'd also be interested in a guide for a dis-pack conversion if this is possible.. Coil packs are more agro than they are worth!

Coil packs are great. Except many cars that have the originals are about 10-13 years old and the coil packs degrade with heat and time.

I use coilpacks on the race car as they don't take up any valuable space on or around the engine, there are no leads to cause interferance or get in the way, and from new are very reliable.

It is possible to run the later 97 coilpack and leads though, I have done it a few times. You need to create 2 pairs of cylinders by commoning at the ignitor, and I found it easier to run 2 wires straight from the ignitor to the coilpack for the triggers, and take ignition switched 12v from one of the existing coilpack feeds.
