Default HELP! Can't open bonnet...

Feel a bit of a twit, because I can't open the bonnet of my '96 WRX import

I removed the bottom left dash to get some extra leverage on the bonnet pull and wire, but the latch on the bonnet isn't moving/opening enough...

Any suggestions?

TIA

Dave

Get somone to press down on the bonnet whilst you pull the bonnet release.

Or get it up on some ramps and let's hope you have a very long arm.

Had this last year on mine .... thought the cable had come loose or snapped!!

As ste360 says, best thing to do is get someone to put pressure on the bommet and pull at the release .... when it does release, absolutely drown the mechanism in WD40 and try and clean it as much as possible .... mines was full of crap!!
