Question Intercooler Choice.

If you were to replace the intercoller, would you choose to upgrade the Top mount or get rid of this and go front mount??

How much would I expect to pay for either??

Depends on what you want to do. If you like stealth then replace the top mount, but bear in mind that there's a limit to what a top mount can really achieve, so if you're going to all the trouble of changing the IC, might as well go the whole hog and go front mounted.

But then if you're driving around in a bright blue STi, with a huge spoiler and gold wheels then you're not exactly driving a 'sleeper' anyway so might as well go front mounted just for the hell of it.

If you intend to go beyond 300/350 bhp go FMIC.
The Sti v3 will do it, but it heats-up very quickly!

Depends on your goals and useage.

STi 8 TMIC = £200-300
FMIC = £215+

TMIC is the easier to fit of the two.
