Default Help!

Hello al

I've had a strange problem with my car over the last couple of weeks it seems to cut out for no reason, I finnaly figured out when it happens but have no idea why.

When:
When you accelerate and then push the clutch in the revs drop very quickly all the way to 0 so if you keep the clutch dipped the engine cuts out, no warning lights nothing. Of course when you raise the clutch as long as the cars still moving the engine kicks over again. This is a bit worrying what with the power steering and brakes going when the engine turns off.

Why?
any ideas

Thanks Alot

P.S new engine fitted about 2 months ago

MAF sensor perhaps.. what was decided as the cause of the previous engine failure? may have been the same sensor.
