Default Ninja cat back system. MOT concern?

Thinking of buying a ninja cat back system. Think this does however remove the 2nd cat on the centre pipe.

Anyone have any experience of these, dont really wanna waste the cash if i'm gonna fail on emissions. My 94wrx does still have the cat on the downpipe.

Thanks

dont think 94 needs any cats but you could allways keep center pipe with cat on then 10min to swop before mot then nothing to worry about

No cats on my UK 2000 passed NI MOT test last year and was well under emissions levels. Will have to get a cat on this year as there is now a visual inspection for the presence of Cats. Maybe you could search out a 'modified friendly' MOT tester.

Unfortunatly it is only pre aug 92 cars (L reg) that can get away with no cat.

Not if the car is an import and pre Sep 95 - the WRX/STIs etc. models don't appear on the register, so they have to use non-cat test.

This happened to me last year on my old MY95 WRX.

Have the same system on a MY99 no problem passing emissions test.
Cat in down pipe will take care of the emissions.
