Hi,i've just finished my 2.5 engine build,i put 5 liters of oil in and it's only just registered on the dipstick. I thought it takes 4.5 liters,do 2.5l take more?

mine takes 5ltrs with my oil cooler and extra pipework.

 

oil capacity is exactly the same unless you've added a different sump..........

with a fresh engine build it will sometimes tkae more oil initially as the engine is "bone dry".................leave for 30mins or so to be sure it isn't just draining thro'
