Default New Back box

Just picked up a new back box and would like advise on fitting.
Two bolt connection to centre section not a problem and neither are the rubber bung hangers.
It looks like the metal hook shaped hanger is tack welded to the exhaust, is this right.
If this is the case is it an angle grinder job ?
Anybody done this job ?
Cheers
Nik.

Angle grinder for what? I'd guess the hangers welded to the exhaust are to hang the exhaust with from the rubber hangers?

The rubbers just slide over the hangers a bit of wd40 will help

The rubber hangers are not a problem. A section of the exhaust is sat on a hook shaped metal hanger, its this that appears to be tack welded to the exhaust. Car is a MY03 STI by the way.
